OVERVIEW
Cowfee Creamer is a real-dairy coffee creamer brand built around transparency, sustainability, and ethical farming. As plant-based alternatives continue to dominate the creamer market, Cowfee aims to reframe real dairy as a viable, responsible choice. I led the design and development of the brand’s visual identity, packaging, and tone of voice—crafting a system that balances cheerful accessibility with credibility and environmental awareness.
THE PROBLEM
Over the past decade, non-dairy creamers have grown rapidly in popularity, with many consumers viewing plant-based alternatives as the more ethical or sustainable option. In contrast, traditional dairy has struggled to maintain a positive image, even as some farms embrace ethical practices and produce higher-quality, nutrient-rich products.
Cowfee seeks to challenge assumptions around dairy by partnering exclusively with local and regional farms that prioritize animal welfare and environmental stewardship. My design brief was to communicate this mission clearly and compellingly—building trust among skeptical consumers while standing out in a competitive retail environment.

Package Die Lines – Amaretto

THE SOLUTION
Cowfee’s branding is warm, playful, and transparent. Each carton features relaxed, hand-drawn illustrations and approachable typography, aiming to create an emotional connection and disarm preconceived notions about the dairy industry. The packaging includes farm-specific sourcing information, as well as QR codes linking to videos, images, and background stories from the dairy producers themselves. This fosters a direct connection between consumers and the people behind the product, emphasizing honesty and traceability.
The brand’s tagline—Happy cows, happy planet—captures Cowfee’s core ethos, while the design system reinforces the message with cheerful visuals and clean, modern forms. The result is a packaging solution that feels both joyful and responsible—reinvigorating the dairy creamer category with a sense of purpose and personality.
